Spending time with God

Spending time with God
Do you wish you had more time to spend with God? In Worship. In Praise. In Prayer? What is stopping you? What distracting you? Write down what those distractions are? Our world is set up with so many distractions. From social media, television, internet etc. what us keeping you? How much time can you spare for God? Maybe it’s 10 quiet minutes in the morning? Or moments throughout the day? Or right before bed?

Believe me I get it. I struggle too. Between work, kids, school, homework, activities, meal prep, friends, family, finding a moment to yourself can be challenging. If we made a choice though to set aside the time everyday could this be part of our daily routine? With everything else it’s just becomes part of who you are and how you spend your day.
“If spending time with God is truly a priority,

then decide to make it work — no matter what.”
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for waking me to another blessed day in this life. I pray that my day is dedicated to what you would like me to see, to know and do in this day. I pray that you connect me with others that can achieve the a Works you desire. Allow me to dedicate time in my day for Praise and Prayer to You! Thank you God for all that you do and all that you have already done.

Allow me the strength I need in this day and help me to stay focused on your path, Your desires for my life. Allow distractions to fall away and the focus on you. Time with you. Lead me today.

In Jesus a Name we pray,

Amen
James 4:8 “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”

Psalm 150:1-2 “Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!”
Colossians 4:2 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
