Women encourage each other!
I was walking outside of work and this older woman approached me and asked if I worked there. Now mind you when I say older woman, yes she was much older than me but this woman was full of life and energy! She was healthy and vivacious and had a lot of spunk to her. I told her I did. )I work a spa and workout facility.) She said she was so excited to come work out here. Her last gym she was at she would always be working out with her weights, like 2-3 lbs and doing her cardio, well these other women there a bit older than her would try to discourage her! They would say things like” stop working out like that you are making the rest of us look bad!” Amongst other things that left her feeling bad. I was shocked! so bullying and putting down never stops no matter what age we become? These women because of their own insecurities put her down because they couldn’t do what she could. How sad! I told her to forget what they are saying, that she is amazing to be doing what she can do. That she looks amazing and should not apologize for that. I told her that this was sad that they treated her that way and women should encourage one another. She just looked at me and smiled and told me I was a beautiful girl and she loved my smile and my face! Then I lit up. How wonderful we both felt as we walked away from that moment.
If only women could start joining together and uplifting one another there wouldn’t be do many insecurities. We should celebrate our differences. Applaud our achievements. Be proud of one another. We are Sisters in Christ! We should strive everyday to love as Jesus loves us. Don’t worry I’m not forgetting my brothers in Christ. We all need encouraged. I have just seen so many women be spiteful and jealous instead of loving. Stop! Start your foot forward in Love!
I thank you for all the blessings of this day. I thank you for Life, good health, my family and friends. I am thankful to be connected to so many wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray Lord that in this day our eyes, ears and hearts are open to be like Joseph called Barnabas by the apostles and encourage one another. Allow us to start our feet forward with Love. Allow us to see when someone needs our encouraging and step forward and reach out. I thank you Lord for your guidance and strength to face all that we do in this day. We praise you for all the blessings you have shown us in this day. Allow love to conquer all fears. Thank you for all that you do
In Jesus name we pray
“(24) For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.”
“(26) And when Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, and did not believe that he was a disciple. (27) But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. (28) So he was with them at Jerusalem, coming in and going out. (29) And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus and disputed against the Hellenists, but they attempted to kill him. (30) When the brethren found out, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsus. (31) Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.”
36 , And Joseph who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,
37 having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”
